The Biology Laboratory of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Bakloh is a well-equipped learning space designed to promote scientific curiosity, observation skills and practical understanding among students. The lab supports experiential learning as prescribed by the CBSE curriculum and encourages students to connect theoretical concepts with real-life biological processes.
The laboratory contains essential apparatus such as compound microscopes, permanent slides, models of human organs and body systems, charts, preserved specimens, glassware, and chemicals required for experiments. Students perform practical activities including study of plant and animal tissues, temporary slide preparation, identification of specimens, experiments on osmosis and diffusion, and ecological observations.
Safety and discipline are given prime importance in the lab. Students are guided about proper handling of instruments, safe use of chemicals and maintenance of cleanliness. Record keeping and observation writing are emphasized to develop scientific temperament and analytical thinking.

The Physics Laboratory of PM SHRI KV Bakloh Cantt is a well-equipped and student-friendly learning space designed to promote scientific thinking, observation skills, and experimental learning among students. The lab supports practical activities for classes IX to XII as prescribed by CBSE curriculum.
The laboratory contains essential apparatus such as vernier calipers, screw gauges, spectrometers, galvanometers, ammeters, voltmeters, resistance boxes, optical benches, lenses, prisms, pendulums, meter bridges, and electricity kits. Charts and models are displayed to help students understand fundamental concepts of mechanics, optics, electricity, magnetism, and modern physics.
Students perform experiments under proper guidance, maintain observation records, and learn to analyze results with accuracy. Safety measures are strictly followed and students are instructed about correct handling of instruments before performing experiments.
The lab encourages learning by doing, develops logical reasoning, and connects theoretical knowledge with real-life applications. Regular practical work, demonstrations, and project activities help students build scientific temperament and curiosity.

Chemistry Laboratory Write-Up
The Chemistry Laboratory of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Bakloh Cantt is a well-equipped and student-friendly learning space designed to develop scientific temperament and practical skills among learners. The lab provides a safe and organized environment where students perform experiments as per the CBSE curriculum under the guidance of teachers.
The laboratory is furnished with adequate working tables, water and gas supply, reagent racks, measuring instruments, glassware, chemicals, and safety equipment such as first-aid box, fire extinguisher, and lab coats. Charts, models and safety instructions are displayed to promote awareness of proper laboratory practices.
Students of classes IX to XII regularly conduct experiments related to basic laboratory techniques, chemical reactions, volumetric analysis, salt analysis, pH testing, preparation of solutions, and study of organic and inorganic compounds. Through hands-on activities, students learn observation, recording, analysis and interpretation of results which strengthens their conceptual understanding.
